While I was moving my Kiken chair about half a quart of hydraulic oil leaked out while it was tilted over. I’d like to fill the oil back but unsure where to fill it at or how? Not sure if it has a fill reservoir or if swat needs to be removed to add oil? Any help would be appreciated!
SteveGuestPull off the seat. There’s probably a roughly 3/4″ diameter screw cap in the center of where the seat was – unscrew it and put in 30-weight oil. (ideally plain SAE 30, non-detergent)
Brian GillespieGuestI have had a koken barber chair for over 20 years. I would like to sale it but just wanted some info on what year this one was built. If someone can tell me how to post some pictures I will be glad to.
JimGuestI was trying to restore my fathers Kokek barber chair and when I removed the seat and took out the hydraulic lift apparatus out, the oil leaked out. So my question is how much oil do i put in the cylylinder to get it functioning again cuz I dont want to over fill and need to allow for putting the seat apparatus back….thanks
