Hi I have a wood Koken I’m trying to take apart and I’m stuck on the base. I can’t figure out how it comes apart and was wondering if you’d be able to help
Gary PlesselGuestMark, I have a Koken “Congress” oak, round seat, round back barber chair circa 1890-1905. I have the same problem. I need to know how to disassemble the base from the cylinder housing. Can’t find any screws. I don’t know if it’s pressed in or unscrews from the base. I’ve tried several ways to separate them. Let me know if you find the answer. Email me your email address and I’ll send you any info I find.
Philip M. RohrGuestHi Guys — I have a Koken congress talcum brush model. I have it completely apart except for the base cast sleeve. I can not separate it from the base. Please if you guys have solved the problem—e mail me with any information on how to separate cast sleeve from the base. Please let me know.
Thanks Phil ———————[email protected]
