Hi my name is Nick, I am a new barber. I purchased a 1954 Paidar chair from an older barber, another state away. When i bought the chair it worked perfect and did until this morning. Today I had to move the chair from its position (something i have done many times) and after i moved it back the hydraulics would no longer work. It seems to be stuck a few pumps above being completely down. It wont raise and it wont lower. The break works just fine and the Recline works perfect. But when i pump the lever to raise the chair I feel no resistance like i did before, the lever just swings freely as if something came loose. I removed the seat so i could see down the base/hydraulic but i have no idea what i am looking for or even what i am looking at. If anyone knows anything or has had similar problems that could offer any kind of advice i would be incredibly obliged. Thank you for your time.
AndyGuestI have a 50’s something chair and it was working and it has stopped I have it all apart and am looking to get it working once again so if I figure it out I’ll let you know, if you find a manual please let me know thanks.
