Hello all,
I have recently found a 1950 Kochs barber chair in my great grandfather’s house that I will be moving into. It is in fairly good condition with the exception of a tear in the upholstery on the seat of the chair and a missing headrest. I love the chair my self and would really like to keep it, but I need the space. I also do not have the funds to restore it, not that it would take much restoring. I have the factory inspection card that came with it, signed and dated in 1950.
I really don’t have a good idea of what it is worth. I need to sell it and I’ve done a little research, but the price range is pretty wide. What should I try to get for this chair? I live in West Texas about 70 miles southwest of Lubbock, so shipping would be an issue. I will post some pictures this afternoon. Any and all help would be greatly appreciated.
Cheers!
Corey
