Antique Barber Chairs, why collectors love them › Forums › Main Barber Chairs Forum › 1950s Takara Belmont chair model/year?
I am restoring a Takara Belmont chair that appears to be a No. 5 from the 1950s as I found out from the history timeline on Takara’s website. There is a plate under the seat with an inspection date of 60804 and a serial number 60815.
Can anyone tell me what this means? I’d particularly like to know the year for valuation.
The chair is in very good shape. I’ve included a link to my FB page with the picture of the plate … my first time, so I hope it works.
Thanks in advance!
Sorry … here is the picture.
